DEEPER LIFE CHURCH GENERAL OVERSEER SON WEDDING IN JAMAICA SPARKS CONTROVERSY......MEANWHILE JUDGE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#### Last weekend, John Kumuyi, the 2nd son of Deeper Life General Overseer, Pastor W.F Kumuyi married his longtime fiancee, Love Odih in Jamaica.

The stylish wedding ceremony that was graced by top Deeper Life Dignitaries from all over the world was success.

The glamourous wedding ceremony happened to be one of its kind in the highly indoctrinated church.

As we are all aware that the church’s doctrine forbids women wearing flash wedding gowns, jewelries, and makeup on their wedding day.

But for Love Odih, the daughter of Deeper Life’s national overseer in Jamaica, the reverse is the case.

On her wedding day, Love appeared beautiful with her earrings, sexy wedding dress, eyelashes and makeup.

This has sparked serious anger amongst concerned deeper lifers and outsiders who think this is a bit contrary to the church’s doctrine.

Below are few comments on this controversial topic;

Pastor W.F.kumuyi is not to blame for this worldliness in Jamaican branch of the church. The church has a hierarchy and it is expected that the national overseer of jamaican church should maintain godly standard and not to yield to john and his daughter in their craving for the world even though it involves pastor’s children! What pastor Kumuyi expected to see as visitor during the wedding ceremony is godliness of the arrangement and not the contrary! But as a man of God who is always controlled by God’s spirit,he may not react immediately. But definitely he may not be in tune with the whole exercise judging frm the countenance in the picture. We know our pastor through his undiluted preaching and life.He is really an example to any deeperlifer that care to make heaven at last! But we don’t know the national overseer of Jamaican church under whose watch the church of God is being ridiculed. If John & love and bride’s parents decided to allow worldliness in their wedding ,then it is up to them! God will judge even if wedding of pastors’ children does not glorify Him.Brethren, focus your attention on God,pray for our pastor Kumuyi and the church.I see the whole thing to be an attack on the church through those allowed themselves as tool of worldliness .- John A

Pst kumuyi shud trash these in the coming crusade to the world let us know the stand of the church.JOHN!!! U are a disgrace to Christ ur Dad and the church,u might be on ur way to HELL FIRE but i pray u come 2 track.shame to you and ur so called wife.i pray dat ur bro don’t break our heart as u did nd i pray dat Pst kumuyi will mis his mansion in Heaven because of u.once again SHAME!SHAME!!SHAME! – Ezra

Going to heaven is a personal conviction, don’t let the devil decive you by what so ever.keep looking unto jesus…happy married life to bro.john and love kumuyi. – Joyous joe

All that want to happen has happen many are called but few are chosen, anyone with the spirit of God will always stand for the truth what is bad is bad how will john’s father feel? what ever we got to do on this earth let us remember that the owner of your life is watching you.the standards of DLCM still remain the same. Notting change,I pray I will not be a stumbling blood to anyone . – Esthe

Heaven is real and hell is real, please dont wait to get there before u believe on God,s standard.Jesus wants us to be natural the way He created us,for what shall it profit a man if he gained the whole world and loose his soul.Forget about who does what and think about ur own soul.Jesus is longer coming soon but NOW.Believers be warned!- Esthe

As Christia
ns we need 2 b careful wit our tongue because we ar goin 2 give account one day .I believe in moderation in all things, besides, in essentials let there b unity and in non essentials let the liberty, d coming of our Lord is at hand. – oludimu

I will say (1) This distraction is important and a notable one. (2) Deeper Life as a church actually wants its members to make heaven. That is the utmost desire of Pastor Kumuyi and the pastor’s that work with him. (3) Sometimes the call of God and His demand for your time may be so demanding that you rarely have time to even buy or watch TV, in fact seeing someone having time to watch Tv you might almost think he or she is not a serious christian. God’s call and demand for different people may differ but we should be wise to know when it is for specific individuals and so not to be generalized. (4) Do not make sinning too cheap. Many have sinned by their comment, do not do it. Any statement not made in love is in error. I Love pastor Kumuyi and his labor of love will not be in vain in Jesus name. Amen – Chike

Now I understand why Daddy used to refer to Deeper Life members as Hyprocites… They are as worst as the devil. How can you be preaching against people putting on earrings and make up and on ur own wedding Day ur son allowed his bride to make up. When my sister was getting married, I asked her if she will be putting on earrings, but she said No, we are not Deeper life member but we follow the doctrine of the bible. I have never put on earring and I have never condemned those who put them on,….. This is just pure nonsense. A family friend attending deeper life church destroyed their Television because it was called the box of Satan by their G.O Kumuyi, months later, they went to Kumuyi’s house and they found put that the man actually uses Televis
ion. What are we saying. –Olayemi
BEWARE AND JUDGE NOT! GOD SEES THE INTENT OF EVERY HEART. DONT FORGET THEY ARE NOT IN NIGERIA. WHAT IS BRIDE WEAR IS MODERATE. REMEMBER, EVERY MAN WILL ACCOUNT FOR EVERY IDLE WORDS THAT HE SAID. LET’S WAIT FOR THE MAN OF GOD TO CLEAR THE AIR. I AM SURE MOST OF THESE POLICY ABOUT MARRIAGE IS INVENTED BY THE MARRIAGE COMMITTEE AND NOT THE PASTOR. EVEN MOST OF THE PROBLEMS WE ARE SUBJECTED TO DURING OUR ENCOUNTER WITH THE MARRIAGE COMMITTEE, THE PASTOR MAY NOT BE AWARE OF IT. IMAGINE IF YOU ARE ALSO A LEADER, I BELIEVE IT IS ONLY WHAT YOU ARE TOLD BY YOUR LEADER THAT YOU WILL FOLLOW. DONT LET THIS DISTRACT YOUR ATTENTION, JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, PASTOR KUMUYI WILL MAKE IT BECAUSE IF WE ASK HIM HE WILL DEFEND ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD. WATCH YOUR OWN LIFES REMEMBER, THE LORD IS AT HAND… –Ogundiran

Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High
Court sitting in Lagos has fixed October 16, 2013
for the commencement of trial in a N120 million
copyright suit filed against popular music star,
Innocent Idibia, a.k.a. TuFace, his wife, Annie
Idibia and their manager, Anthonio Anifite over
photographs allegedly taken at the recent
traditional wedding of the musician and his wife
in Akwa Ibom State.
Abuja based photographer, Emmanuel Okolo,
who is the plaintiff in the suit alongside his studio,
Papilonmexy filed suit against the defendants.
He is asking for six reliefs, two of which include
N100 million in general damages and N20million
in exemplary damages.
At the resumed hearing of the case yesterday,
neither TuFace nor his wife was represented in
court. Anifite who is the second defendant was
however represented by his counsel, J.O Uttute.
Meanwhile, a mild drama ensued when the judge
openly admonished Uttute after the latter
claimed that he had filed his defence when he
had not done so.
The judge warned him not to come to this court
again if he was not prepared for the case. “You
told me that you have filed your response, but
looking through here, there is nothing to that
effect. And you are even smiling. Do you think you
are here to joke? Never come to this court again if
you are not prepared. You don’t even know when
the case was filed and you are not prepared for
it,” said the judge.
Also, the plaintiff’s counsel, Habeeb Oredola
expressed worry over the defendants’ inability to
appear before the court or be represented by a
counsel after they were served with the writs of
summon.
In the writ of summon, Okolo and his studio
claimed they were contracted by TuFace’s wife
through a third party, identified as Ms Chineze
Anyaene to take photo shots at the traditional
wedding held in Eket, Akwa Ibom state in March,
2013.
The plaintiff said, he was reluctant at the
beginning since the offer was coming through a
third party, but later accepted after he was
convinced that the offer was actually with the
blessing of the first defendant.
Annie Idibia was said to have later contacted the
photographer after the wedding and demanded
for the printing of 10 of the high resolution
pictures taken.
